Toggle & Lever
A Toggle and Lever switches is an electrical switch that pivots around one end of their actuator lever, this pivot allows the switch to have two or three positions. A two-position switch is generally used as an on-off switch whereas a three-way switch can be used as an on-off-on switch controlling multiple functions. Toggle and lever switches can be maintained or momentary, a maintained switch means the switch will stay in the altered position once activated whereas a momentary switch will return to its original position once the pressure is removed.
