Power Rockers Sealed

A Rocker Switch is a style of electrical switch which pivots in the centre of the actuator creating a see-saw motion. These switches can be two position which are usually used as an on-off switch or three-position which could be used for things like speed control using one position for off, the second for low and the third for fast. Rocker switches come in both maintained or momentary actuation, this means the switch will either stay in the new position once the switch is operated if maintained or the switch will spring back into its original position if momentary. These rocker switches are sealed which means they have protection from environmental factors such as liquid and dust ingress. This makes these rocker switches more expensive when compared with their unsealed counterparts but they are much more reliable when used in outdoor applications or areas where dust and dirt could be an issue.
