HS5L Series - Interlock Switch

The HS5L series of interlock switches from IDEC are type 2 low level coded switches available with 2 or 4 contacts. The HS5L series is available in spring lock or solenoid lock variations and offer a locking force of 1400N.

The HS5L is also compatible with IDEC’s right-angled, straight or adjustable angle actuator, which is ideal for use on hinged doors. The rotatable head structure allows the actuators entry direction to be easily changed to better suit the application by offering 8 different entry positions.

Measuring only 35mm by 40mm and 127mm high for 2 contacts or 154mm for the 4 contact version the HS5L is perfect for when space is at a premium. Sealed to IP67 and with a mechanical life of 2 million operations, the HS5L series is perfect for applications using small doors and guards such as food machinery and injection moulding machines.
