AN1/AN8/AN9/ANG Series

The AN1/AN8/AN9/ANG series of angle position sensors from ZF are non-contact position sensors utilizing hall effect technology. The AN1 has a spring return design with integrated magnets which can provide orientation via linear output for 5° to 85° of rotation. The AN8/AN9/ANG models are non-contact sensors giving extreme life expectancy due to zero mechanical wear and designed to offer 360° of rotation.

The AN8/AN9/ANG models can also be programmed to allow for angle range, slope, PMW output and for custom magnets to be used. The AN9 has two separate output signals allowing for redundancy which gives exceptional reliability while the ANG is compliant with EMC/EMI/ESD guidelines for industrial and automotive applications. The ZF angle position sensors are ideal for applications such as Hydraulic Valves and Controls, Electric Drives, Pneumatic controls, Zero-Contact Encoders, Gear Selections and Shifting Position, Lifting and Driving Height Position, Throttle Valve and Pedal Switches and Steering Wheel Position.
