IDEC’s FC6A is a powerful and versatile programmable logic controller (PLC) designed to meet the demands of advanced industrial automation applications.  

The FC6A comes in two different ranges. The ALL-IN-ONE version is designed for simpler applications with limited expansion needs. It supports a smaller number of I/O points and has fewer expansion options compared to the PLUS version. Please see the product catalogue for more information. 

The PLUS version offers scalability with support for a possible 2,060 I/O points and more extensive expansion options. It is ideal for more complex automation tasks requiring extensive control and monitoring. 

Having a compact size and robust performance, the ALL-IN-ONE version of the FC6A is an ideal solution for complex control tasks, offering up to 520 I/O points and an impressive program capacity of 800 KB. 

This PLC supports a wide range of communication protocols, including Ethernet/IP, MQTT, Modbus TCP and RTU, and BACnet, ensuring seamless integration into diverse network environments. 

Featuring high-speed processing capabilities, with a program execution speed of 42 nanoseconds per step, the FC6A is exceptionally responsive for time-critical operations.  

Additionally, the FC6A includes an embedded SD card slot for easy data logging and program transfer, enhancing its flexibility and convenience. 

The IDEC FC6A is also equipped with an intuitive programming environment that supports ladder logic, function block diagrams, and structured text, catering to various programming preferences.
